The Shops at Wailea are a two-minute drive away to the south along Wailea Alanui Drive. Here you'll find some great first class shopping and restaurants. They use a validation parking system where the first hour is always free and an additional three hours of parking are free with store purchase validation (minimum $25, see their website for details). There are also some wonderful shops in the nearby large Wailea resort hotels.

There are numerous shops and services all along the stretch of South Kihei Road from Wailea Ekahi to central Kihei. Kalama Village is the epicenter of kitsch in Kihei, but a fun area to walk around. Take a drive and explore!

Azeka Shopping Center spans both the east and west sides of South Kihei Road in the center of Kihei. This is one of the largest shopping centers in the area and there are a wide variety of shops and restaurants here to enjoy.

A busy shopping center just off the Piilani Highway. Safeway is the main store in the complex.

Visit the main street in Lahaina's Old Town for numerous shops and restaurants. The Old Town has a great vibe and some of the oldest architecture on Maui. Don't miss the Banyan tree! And try one of the local restaurants for lunch while you're there (we recommend Star Noodle).

Paia and Makawao have many quaint shops offering local artisanal products, surfwear, clothing, etc. Drive there for lunch (there are many great restaurants) and spend the afternoon.

You'll find many large retailers in Kahului such as Costco, Wal-Mart, Target, OfficeMax, Lowe’s and Home Depot, all located along or near Dairy Road / Pakaula Street, not far from the airport.
